Want to keep your mind healthy? Looks like exercise could be the answer. In recent studies, they have linked physical activity with stimulating a hormone that participates in protective actions in the brain. In other words, when we get up and move, mechanisms in our body are stimulated to help protect our brain.
So other than the fact that exercise helps to keep us slim and trim (along with a healthy diet), improves our mood, and gives us added energy, we can add extra brain power to the list! I think I’ll go do a few sun salutations now. . . Namaste 🙂
